Cardi B Wears a Crystal Bathrobe to Promote “Hot Sh*t”

Cardi B is serving bedazzled opulence for breakfast in her latest Instagram post. In a move to promote her new single “Hot Sh*t,” set to come out this Friday, the Grammy Award-winning rapper recorded herself singing on a rooftop in a crystal-embellished bathrobe in front of Playboy dinnerware. In true Cardi B fashion, her robe and head towel were custom made by crystal artist Vincent Michael from Disco Daddy Studio, and her entire glitzy look was styled by Kollin Carter.

Celebrity friends were quick to comment on the star’s first Instagram reel, including Lizzo, who wrote, “F*cking beautiful,” and Normani, who left a slew of heart emoji under the post. “Hot Sh*t” will be Cardi’s first single in over a year and includes features from Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Lil Durk. Although Cardi has stayed busy this past year, becoming a mother of two and featuring on Summer Walker and SZA’s “No Love” remix, she said the pandemic definitely put a hold on her own musical projects.

“Last year, I was like, I gotta put out my album this year. But, then I just stopped working on my album out of nowhere because I feel like the whole COVID thing discouraged me to put out my album,” she told XXL in April 2021. Regarding creating a second album, she shared in a December Instagram video, “It’s been a lot trying to balance out my new motherf*cking life.” Four years after her debut studio album, “Invasion of Privacy,” it would seem Cardi is back, and we can’t wait to hear the music and appreciate the looks she has in store for us.
