Taylor Swift left fans reeling once again by teasing her “Midnights” track list, leading up to the official album release on Friday, Oct. 21. The 32-year-old singer, who works with stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer on her wardrobe, chose many of her frequently-worn brands including Reformation, Stella McCartney, and Cathy Waterman jewelry, for press videos posted to Instagram and TikTok. As Swift strategically assigns style eras to her musical phases, it seems “Midnights” will harken back to a ’70s-influenced aesthetic.

The star reached for everything from shrunken polos, knits, and cardigans to neutral-toned wide-leg trousers, with an emphasis on cozy, fall-friendly materials like cashmere and corduroy. In the teaser for all the videos, she wows in several embellished pieces, including a glittering hoodie, a fringe bra-and-panty set, and a sparkly strapless number.

Most notably, Swift also wore Guest in Residence twice, a brand launched by her close friend Gigi Hadid earlier this fall. She also slipped into a green Levi’s cardigan with flowers down the sleeves that is now sold out and being re-listed on sites like Poshmark and Mercari for upwards of $200.

While we have seen Swift’s signature red lip make an appearance in her short series, aptly titled “Midnights Mayhem With Me,” she also showed off a soft pink gloss and experimented with hairstyles, emphasizing her bangs with braids, messy buns, and loose, cascading waves. While delicate, Swift’s accessories also feel thoughtful — she sported a pair of Larkspur & Hawk antique-style blue button earrings that she previously wore to accept her pop album of the year honor virtually during the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Ahead, catch a full rundown of the “Midnights Mayhem With Me” outfits you can still shop, and stay tuned for more retro fashion moments to come.
