Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens’s Engagement Shoot Outfits

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens’s style is in sync as their upcoming wedding approaches. After wearing several coordinating costumes for Halloween last month, the power couple chose matching outfits for their recent engagement photo shoot, lensed by Houston-based photographer Rachel Taylor. Both Biles and her fiancé wore classic white T-shirts, light-wash jeans with rips at the knees, and white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. They accessorized with silver chainlink jewelry, including diamond bracelets and necklaces. Biles’s massive oval-shaped diamond engagement ring and double french manicure were front and center in several of the pictures, in addition to what appeared to be a silver “Owens” ring on her opposite hand.

Biles posted a carousel from the joyous portrait session on Instagram on Nov. 20 with the caption, “THE future owens 🤍.” The post was instantly flooded with comments of excitement and support from her followers, including fellow gymnast Suni Lee, who wrote, “I love this so much.” Owens simply commented with red-heart and heart-hands emoji.

When Owens proposed to Biles on Valentine’s Day this past February, they similarly coordinated for the special occasion — the Houston Texans football player wore a gray suit, black turtleneck, and leather sneakers, while the Olympic gold medalist wore a black leather dress with side ruching and Saint Laurent pumps. Since then, the duo has perfected the art of couple style, from their his-and-hers suiting moment at the White House in July to the many times Biles has cheered on her soon-to-be husband with “Owens”-themed gear at his football games.

Biles and Owens’s wedding is scheduled to take place at a destination beach venue sometime in 2023, and the bride has already picked out not one, but two Galia Lahav dresses for the big day. Her bridesmaids, meanwhile, will likely sport neutral dresses in line with their chosen gold, white, and champagne color scheme.
