Sofia Richie Wears Sheer Skirt and Bodysuit to Chanel Dinner

Sofia Richie delivered a tasteful take on the “naked” fashion trend for a Chanel dinner event in Los Angeles on June 14. Wearing the brand from head to toe, the newlywed layered a sheer black skirt over a matching bodysuit, creating an edgy departure from her recent bridal-white looks. Richie’s fitted top featured a bow and cutout at the bust, while her pleated tulle skirt came with a strip of sequined embroidery and was completely see-through, letting the bottom half of her bodysuit peek through.

Sticking to the “quiet-luxury” aesthetic she’s become synonymous with, Richie styled her outfit with a Chanel logo belt, silver Mary Jane-style wedges, and a spherical white handbag so tiny, it could likely only fit a tube of lip balm. (Paparazzi photos show the model carrying her phone separately, for size reference.) The finishing touches were a millennial-approved side-part hairstyle, a stack of bracelets, her massive emerald-cut engagement ring, and diamond stud earrings.

Richie is a known fan of Chanel, wearing three custom bridal dresses by the fashion house for her wedding in France earlier this year. She and husband Elliot Grainge attended the Chanel cruise show in LA following their tropical honeymoon, and she also stepped out with sister Nicole Richie for the brand’s Paris Fashion Week presentation in March. In fact, her devotion extends all the way back to 2016 when she walked the Chanel runway in Paris for the annual Métiers d’Art show.

Read ahead to admire Richie’s interpretation of the ever-present sheer trend — and to watch her fun OOTD TikTok with creator Jake Shane.
