The cast of Saturday Night Live kicked off their Mother’s Day episode with a super-sweet tribute to all the incredible mothers out there. During the May 8 episode, musical guest Miley Cyrus took the stage to perform a beautiful rendition of her godmother Dolly Parton‘s hit song “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.” In between crooning the emotional lyrics, we got glimpses of the cast with their moms. While Aidy Bryant’s mom adorably plugged her hit Hulu series, Shrill, Pete Davidson’s mom joked that she almost didn’t make it for the sketch because she was up late playing Madden with Timothée Chalamet. LOL! Of course, Cyrus was joined by her own mom, Tish, at the end of the number as the entire cast got together on stage. Watch the adorable opener above.
