Stream, New Horror Film Reminiscent of Terrifier, Gets First Poster

Stream, an upcoming horror movie with a star-studded cast of genre icons, has revealed its first poster. The film, which hails from Fuzz on the Lens Productions, raised funds on Indiegogo, allowing horror fans to contribute to the making of the movie. Stream also shares many crew members with the Terrifier films. For instance, director Damien Leone was in charge of the makeup and FX. The movie also features actors from Terrifier.

The plot of Stream is as follows.

“When Roy and Elaine Keenan realize their family is drifting apart, they decide that something needs to be done. Roy forces his work to take a back seat, and they seize the opportunity to recreate a vacation from their past. A peaceful stay in a quaint hotel is just what they need, however that is not what is in store for them. With four deranged murderers patrolling the seemingly mundane halls, the odds are definitely not in the Keenan family’s favor. Roy must fight for his life and those of his family as their simple weekend getaway truly turns into a vacation to die for.”

A video posted to the movie’s Instagram page had this caption:

“If you’re someone who’s excited about the latest Terrifier news, but doesn’t want to wait so long to see another new and exciting slasher with brutal practical effects, then worry no more because Stream is here for you. So click the link in our bio to be the first to see the new poster and be sure to follow @streamfranchise for more updates. You can still become a part of the team on Indiegogo but it’s your last chance because the campaign ends in a few weeks.”

Jason Leavy plays player 1. Besides playing one of the killers, Leavy is also a co-writer on the film, a producer, and the younger brother of director Michael Leavy. His previous acting credits include both Terrifier movies, a cop in the first one and a partygoer in the second. Leavy also played Finbar in Abnormal Attractions, which also hailed from Fuzz on the Lens Productions.

David Howard Thornton plays Player 2. Previously, Thornton played Art the Clown in both Terrifier movies (and the Pete Davidson comedy series Bupkis, oddly enough.) Thornton also played a more murderous version of the Grinch in The Mean One, a slasher movie parody released last year, and an orderly in the tv series Gotham.

Liana Pirraglia plays Player 3. In her younger years, she was on Toddlers and Tiaras. Besides that, she’s acted in several short films, such as Ester in Lavished. In terms of full-length movies, Pirraglia also played Baker in Lock Down Love. In addition to her acting career, Pirraglia is also a model, singer, dancer, and Hooters waitress.

Mark Haynes plays Player 4. He appeared uncredited in Rowdy Bear #2 in Bros, Bruised as Lady Killer Posse, and Leather Daddy #2 in Hightown. Besides that, Haynes was also a photo double for Dave Bautista in Glass Onion and Knock at the Cabin, serving as a stand-in for the actor during the latter. Haynes also did stunts in Ray Donovan and Gotham.
