The highly anticipated Amazon series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power continues to grow their marketing push ahead of its September 2nd release on Prime. The studio has just dropped new character images from the upcoming series, but if you’re looking for some insight into these characters, the company is not yet ready to reveal too much just yet. Here’s What to Expect for Rings of Power

Although the new images don’t give us any details as to what these characters look like or if they are human, elf, dwarf, or something else, they do show us just how large the series is going to be and how big the Tolkien world has expanded. Here’s the official synopsis for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power:

The series is a massive adventure on so many levels. New characters and history that we have not explored yet are just a tiny piece of the larger puzzle for this new show. Amazon is not holding back as far as budget goes wither as this series comes with a $1 billion price tag. Amazon bought the rights from Tolkien Estate for an incredible $250 million. The series, is said to last five seasons and makes it, by far, the most expensive TV production of all time. Tune in on September 2nd, 2022, only on Amazon to see where the journey takes us.
