It looks like Luther will find himself in some trouble from The Sparrow Academy, with actorTom Hopper being hung upside down and thrown around in all manner of dramatic ways. Hopper was also spotted wearing the muscle suit that gives him his gorilla-like build.

The results of the suit can be seen in a different image, which shows Luther running (likely towards danger). Of course, It’s also possible that Luther is simply out for his morning constitutional.

Based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá’s Dark Horse comic book series of the same name, The Umbrella Academy begins in 1989, with a highly unusual occurrence wherein forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven of these mysterious babies are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his “children” to save the world. Unfortunately, not everything goes according to Hargreeves’ plan, and the family fractures leading to the disbanding of The Umbrella Academy, before they are brought back together and forced to unite once again to stop the imminent apocalypse.
While there are currently no official plot details for The Umbrella Academy season 3, the final moments of the second season found the Hargreeves siblings thrown into an alternate timeline and coming face-to-face with a group of shadowy figures known as The Sparrow Academy. While their identities had remained a mystery come the series end, several details have since been revealed giving audiences a better idea of what to expect when season 3 begins, with the Sparrow’s being made up of Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, and Jake Epstein. Oh, and the Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube known as Christopher, of course.
Both seasons of The Umbrella Academy have been a huge hit for Netflix, with both seasons receiving rave reviews and high viewing numbers. Filming on the third season began earlier this year, and while no premiere date has yet been announced, showrunner Steve Blackman recently revealed the upcoming season premiere title to be “Meet the Family”. This comes to us from Sean O’Neill.
