The Best Bags and Shoes From Chanel’s Incredible Spring 2027 Collection

The fashion world is beside itself with excitement following the rollout of Matthieu Blazy’s latest Chanel ready-to-wear collection. And with good reason. It’s gorgeous and joyful and incredibly diverse — offering clothing and accessory options to suit (literally and figuratively) a woman of any age in a riot of colors and bursting with special details — from buttons to embroideries — than make nearly every piece feel like a wearable treasure.

“Throughout their lives, women become multiple selves, different faces of the same coin,” said Blazy in the show’s notes. “It’s like a game of exquisite corpse, where one identity leads to another. It’s about the women within a woman. And here, it’s about one woman, Gabrielle, who then became Chanel.”

Although the collection was rife with house references, Blazy was not making what he called a “historical collection.” Rather, it was thoroughly modern. “It’s a collection about Gabrielle Chanel’s layered stories,” he said. “Ultimately, Chanel took off, and each step she took led to her being free, like a bird.”

And the accessories! At this point everyone knows that as important as clothing is to a brand like Chanel, it’s the bags and shoes (along with beauty and fragrance) that really move the needle and this season, Blazy offered his largest assortment yet. Indeed, every one of the 83 looks that walked the runway was shown with a different pair of shoes. And nearly every look had it’s own unique bag, too. Here are some of our favorites.
