The model opted for a throwback style when she spent some seaside time with friends recently, and she documented the outfit on Instagram. Your eyes might be drawn to her colorful Memorial Day bucket hat or meaningful jewelry, but I zoomed in straight away to the tankini top that reminds me of my middle school days.
I know plenty of people still love the tankini style for its coverage and versatility. Please, teach me your ways! Tankinis will forever remind me of getting pushed in the pool by a boy named Alex and trying to avoid odd tan lines by lifting up the midriff flap while laying in the sun. Many things have changed since those 2006 days, and I never imagined bringing back this swimsuit, well, ever.
