Ray Winstone and Robin Wright to star in Netflix fantasy



The cast of Netflix’s fantasy film “Damsel” has received a significant addition. Starring Millie Bobby Brown and Angela Bassett were joined by Robin Wright , Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.

Nick Robinson has been working professionally for over a decade despite his young age. His most notable character was Love, the title character in Simon, which he repeated in the spin-off series Lou, Victor. He was recently in the popular Netflix series Maid and the thriller Silk Road. Last but not least, the youngest cast member announced that Carter made his TV debut with the TNT series  The Alienist . She then moved on to Netflix’s The Irregulars. Damsel will make Carter’s feature film debut.

In the film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (” 28 Weeks Later “), a submissive girl agrees to marry a handsome prince. Still, it soon becomes clear that the royal family has very different plans for her. It turned out that the girl was chosen as a victim in order to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive.

Dan Mazo (” Wrath of the Titans “) prepared the script. Producing duties are shared between Brown, Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum, and Sue Baden-Powell.

Wright is an eight-time Emmy nominee and has been linked to Netflix with the popular series House of Cards and Ozark. Winston recently played a villain in Marvel’s Black Widow, while Robinson starred in the mini-series Cleaner: A Single Mother’s Story.
