Kylie Jenner loves ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’

Kylie Jenner has revealed she’s a huge fan of The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, calling it “one of the best games ever”.

Influencer Kylie Jenner appeared on Wednesday’s episode (May 13) of Netflix’s video podcast Therapuss With Jake Shane. As well as discussing the “horrible” ways she was treated by paparazzi photographers as a teenager and being scared to tell her parents she was pregnant, the social media star also revealed her latest obsession – The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.

“Zelda’s one of the best games ever,” Jenner said, before host Jake Shane asked her to explain the “premise” of the open-world adventure game Breath Of The Wild.

“I’m going to sound like such a nerd. 100 years before you start playing the game, there was a big war happening with all the Divine Beasts,” said Jenner, after looking up the correct name for the four mechanical titans built to aid Princess Zelda and trap her arch nemesis Ganon. “I’m so sorry to all the Zelda fans out there [for not knowing their name]. I’m still kind of new. I’ve already conquered one of the Divine Beasts and I’m onto my second.”

“Anyway, 100 years prior to the game, there was a big war, the world is in shambles, everything is fucked. Then you get in there [as] Link and you’re trying to save the world. And Princess Zelda, even though it’s 100 years later, she’s still thriving in the castle. You want to get to Princess Zelda. Were they in love? I don’t know, there’s a bunch of flashbacks.

“The Divine Beasts were really on our side but then they got taken over by Ganon, so you have to enter the Divine Beasts and snap them out of it. It’s the most intricate [story],” said Jenner.

The clip was shared by Netflix’s X account and has blown up across social media. “As it turns out baddies actually love video games and are nerdy as hell. I think it’s really cool she’s talking about Zelda, like you go girl,” wrote one X user. “I’m gonna be honest. I thought this was a joke… then she whipped out the ‘100 years ago’,” said another.

“People complaining and being gatekeepy but I am always happy when a casual is having fun playing a video game. Also Breath Of The Wild is one of the best games ever made so it’s understandable that even a Kardashian would fall victim to its greatness,” added a third.

Nintendo is currently working on a live-action adaptation of The Legend Of Zelda. The film, starring Bo Bragason (Princess Zelda) and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth (Link), is set to hit cinemas April 30 2027.

In other news, Amazon’s ambitious online multiplayer The Lord Of The Rings game has been cancelled but the company is still “exploring” other ideas with the IP.
