Old Navy Microfleece Sweat Set Review: With Photos

When the weather starts getting colder, I know two things to be true about myself. One, I will rarely leave my house and the comfort of my heater. And two, if I do leave the house, I’m most likely sporting a matching set. There’s something about a two-piece matching set that’s easy, comfortable, and fun. It’s an outfit that requires almost zero planning, but it usually looks like you spent hours putting it together.

Recently, when scrolling the Old Navy website, I came across a matching sweat set that I absolutely had to have. Ever since I received the Old Navy Microfleece Henley Lounge Sweatshirt ($30) and the Old Navy Microfleece High-Waisted Microfleece Lounge Jogger Sweatpants ($30) in the mail, I’ve been wearing them nonstop.

What I Love About the Old Navy Microfleece Henley Lounge Sweatshirt and Microfleece High-Waisted Microfleece Lounge Jogger Sweatpants

What I love most about this sweat set has to be how cozy it is. The microfleece is so snug and warm, it feels like I’m wearing a fuzzy blanket every time I put it on. The sweats are high waisted, which to me is an absolutely necessary feature on any pair of pants. The waistband is elasticized for maximum comfort, plus there’s a drawstring to make sure everything is secure. The fabric is also lightweight enough to wear all day long without overheating or getting sweaty.

Plus, the fact that I always get compliments and questions about where the sweat set is from whenever I wear it definitely doesn’t hurt, either.

What’s Worth Noting About the Old Navy Microfleece Henley Lounge Sweatshirt and Microfleece High-Waisted Microfleece Lounge Jogger Sweatpants

I’m 5’6″ and a half, and I’m typically an extra small or small in sweats and sweatshirts. I decided to get a small in the sweats and a medium in the sweatshirt because I wanted the top to be a bit oversize. In my opinion, both items fit true to size.

Both products also have over 50 five-star reviews on the Old Navy website, and customers rave about how unbelievably soft and comfortable they are.

The one and only downside? The sweatpants don’t have pockets. But other than that, both the sweats and the sweatshirt are absolute perfection.

Who Are the Old Navy Microfleece Henley Lounge Sweatshirt and Microfleece High-Waisted Microfleece Lounge Jogger Sweatpants Best For?

I think this Old Navy sweat set is perfect for anyone who wants to look put together but doesn’t want to have to think too hard about figuring out an outfit. It’s easy to throw on, and it goes with practically everything in my closet, making it an outfit I continue to reach for again and again. I’ve been wearing it on morning walks on the weekends, out to brunch with my girlfriends, and while working from home.

Plus, although I typically purchase a lot of clothes in black, I opted to get this sweatsuit in navy, and it’s been surprisingly easy to style. It pairs perfectly with a black wrap coat and dad sneakers, and I also love wearing it with white sneakers and a fun puffer jacket.
